Hand lettering with watercolors is one of my favorite ways to hand letter and it is especially good for beginners! Watercolors are so easy to use and I find them so forgiving when you’re first getting started. Today I’m trying out my new watercolor product, the Prima Watercolors, and thought I’d let you tag along.

I’ve lettered the names of each of the featured colors in the pack using my favorite Pental Arts Aquash Water Brush and they come in the prettiest pastel shades.
You’ll also need to make sure to use a high quality paper when watercolor lettering so the paper doesn’t warp from the liquid. You can find my go-to paper here.
