Budget Friendly Practice Paper
I love to use HP Premium Paper because it’s super budget friendly and is very thin! It’s not specifically a marker paper but it’s not the same as regular copy paper either. It’s super smooth! I have been using the 32 lb. for years, but recently started using the 24 lb. to save a bit of money. The main difference that I’ve noticed between the two is that the 32 lb. is much thicker. You may prefer this if you’re going to be using a juicier type of marker. I have both & still love both! This paper is a brighter/cooler white color.
Dot Grid for Brush Pens
I have used lots of different dot grid journals, but this one has amazing paper! It’s smooth ivory brushed vellum paper & will be great for keeping your brush pens from fraying too quickly! The paper is a warmer tone and you can see it in use in this video.
Brush Lettering Practice Paper
If you’re looking for something a bit more high quality, then you may enjoy this notepad. It is a dot grid notepad but comes in a larger size. It is also stapled at the top, so you don’t have a binding to get in the way of your arm.
Another paper that I have used is this marker paper. It is thinner/semi-translucent paper that is specifically made for markers.
